Why is it important?

Knowing the experiences of the people living with this devastating skin disease and understanding their problems will be the surest way to know what interventions there are to help them self-manage their condition and how best health care professionals and policy makers can give them the support they need.

Perspectives

It was a pleasure living with the participants who took part in the study FOR six months and then sharing the data/information with two professors who have done similar research. This publication will throw more light on the problems that people who have Buruli ulcer go through.
