Why is it important?

Atropine is increasingly used as treatment for myopia. The full mechanism of this drug on myopia is still unknown. We need to know how this drug accumulates in different parts of the eye.

Perspectives

Atropine eyedrops are the most consistent and effective pharmacological treatment for myopia.
