Many products and services, including new IT related equipment and services are designed with the aim of increasing consumption/sales through innovations. Harmful consequences are neglected. The decision to design products should consider pre-use, use and after-use stages. Harmful consequences need to be taken into consideration throughout the product´s life cycle. Designers can support organizations reshape their mission and vision towards transparency and sustainability.
