The study describes the perceptions of settlers living along Estero de Paco in Manila about the estuary and the technology management practices to rehabilitate it.

All esteros or estuaries all lead to Pasig River.Therefore,rehabilitation must be done first on the esteros and not on the Pasig River.
Perspectives
It is sad to say people view the estuary as part of the environment with no value to the lives of the people living within the area of this ecosystem.
