Even though residents' perception of tourism impact is a commonly mentioned keyword in residents' research, the resident's emotional responses concept is rather vague. This research explores residents’ emotional responses to the effects of tourism development and how the anticipated loss or gain of resources from tourism development affects residents’ attitudes and responses.
