What is it about?
This article provides guidance on the operationalization of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into city strategic planning and management processes. This approach will improve the communication of political goals. The managerial approach behind the proposed conceptual framework might contribute to effectively localize the SDGs in multilevel government settings and to integrate the concept of sustainability as a guiding principle into organizational routines.
