Why is it important?

The idea of a Smart Nation was announced in end 2014. Defining the concept would provide greater clarity in understanding the policies and strategies being developed to achieve its goals.

Perspectives

Governments around the world are harnessing digital technologies to leapfrog others to improve the livability of their cities and livelihood of the citizens. Research to provide a case study on such initiatives would be of great interest to both scholars and practitioners alike.
