Why is it important?

The current study expands the global knowledge base on instructional leadership by providing indigenous knowledge of how instructional leadership is enacted in Singapore schools. Simultaneously, this study suggests a possible research agenda for a further scrutiny on (distributed) instructional leadership.

Perspectives

The study provides empirical evidence of how instructional leadership is practised in Singapore school system. It also suggests a research agenda where distributed instructional leadership could be further explored and theorised.
