What is it about?
Very little is known about what works for improving the well-being of children in foster care. We explore the use of a group-based programme for foster carers, the Reflective Fostering Programme, in terms of how acceptable and relevant it feels to foster carers, and how it might impact upon these carers and the children they look after. We find promising results which suggest the Reflective Fostering Programme may be helpful support for these foster carers although this requires further investigation.
