What is it about?
Pig production in increasingly becoming important for increased smallholder households incomes. High burdens of health issues and the challenges associated with access to feeds limit the sectors potential. In this study, we show the role of improving accessing to veterinary services and using better feeds in influencing the relationship between market orientation and innovation. This is critical given that market orientation plays a critical role in farm level decisions and ultimately influences performance of the pig farm business.
