Making the hospital smart: using a deep long short-term memory model to predict hospital performance metrics

What is it about?

The current study represents an effort to help hospitals become smarter by improving their forecasting capability through advanced deep machine learning algorithms. Specifically, after a comparative analysis of multiple neural network models, we identified the most effective model for predicting daily patient visits, the number of daily medical examinations, and prescriptions.
