What is it about?
ZA-27 was used as the matrix material along with SiC and Gr as reinforcements. Heat treatment was carried out to enhance the properties of the hybrid composites. Dry sliding wear test revealed that, hybrid composite with 9wt% of SiC and 3wt% of Gr showed improved wear resistance. After heat treatment, the properties showed more improvement.
