What is it about?

This research paper assesses employee performance by considering the impact of the positive and negative corporate cultures and their effect on employee performance. In addition, the research probes into the factors that lead to positive culture and explore the variety of cultures that are followed within organizations. Finally, the study answers the formulated question; do the prevailing organizational culture, employee perceived effectiveness of performance reviews, and the employees’ perceived performance affect the factors leading to developing positive culture? The researchers analysed the gathered data from SMEs (311 responses), showing that a healthy corporate culture serves as the basis for increased employee performance in the workplace. All of the three independent variables Availability of Negative Culture (ANC), Availability of Positive Culture (APC), and Employee Perceived Performance (EPP) have a positive impact on the dependent variable of Employee Perceived Effectiveness of Performance Reviews (EPEPR), however, Factors Leading to the Development of a Positive Organizational (FLDPC) has a negative influence.
