What is it about?
Crowdfunding is increasingly used to attract funding for entrepreneurs. Campaigns go through several stages, with entrepreneurs experiencing different levels of engagement as the campaign progresses. Before the launch and post-launch, engagement levels are high, but it declines between these stages. The study finds that cognitive and behavioral engagement is the most prominent in the pre- and post-launch stages. In contrast, emotional engagement is highest during the launch, mid-launch, and conclusion stages and social engagement stays moderate throughout the process.
