What is it about?
Employees play a significant role in implementing corporate social responsibility (CSR) practices. This paper aims to examine the perceived importance of CSR practices and identifies improvement areas of CSR practices using the importance-performance analysis from Macao’s casino employees’ perspective.

Why is it important?
The hospitality sector has grown significantly over the past 30 years as more people all over the world have high disposable incomes to travel, dine out, enjoy and experience. Today, the hospitality sector is one of the economic pillars in many countries or cities. Yet, hospitality firms in particular casinos inevitably require the consumption of resources, produce pollution, and put negative pressure on local communities, they should embrace the notion of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and our study explores the importance and performance ratings of CSR practices from casino employees' perspective.
Perspectives
I hope this article draws people's interests about CSR practices in the casino industry. As many countries and cities start exploring the gaming industry as a major source of government revenues, it is important to know why and how to engage casino employees' to do a good job in CSR.
