With the growing concern towards financial decision making, the study explores the antecedents to responsible financial management behavior. It finds that financial attitude fully mediates the relationship between financial knowledge and responsible financial management behavior and internal locus of control positively influences responsible financial management behavior. Financial risk tolerance moderates the relationship.
