What is it about?

Insurance chatbots promise operational efficiency, yet adoption in emerging markets remains limited. We show that access to human agents, widely assumed to enhance trust paradoxically weakens users' intention to continue using AI chatbots, challenging established service design assumptions in credence-driven financial contexts.
