What is it about?

This study examines how entrepreneurship education and coaching practices influence students’ intention to start environmentally responsible businesses in Oman. Based on survey data from 101 higher education students, the results show that entrepreneurship education directly improves students’ confidence and their intention to pursue green entrepreneurship. Coaching also helps, but mainly when it strengthens students’ entrepreneurial self-confidence. The study suggests that universities should make entrepreneurship education more practical, experiential and sustainability focused. It also shows that effective coaching should not only guide students but should help them believe they can successfully develop and implement green business ideas.
