Teaching and learning cooking skills in Home Economics

What is it about?

As cooking and cooking skills are a part of Home Economics, it is important to investigate what teachers of HE finds important for their students to learn. Our result indicated that important cooking skills according to the teachers are for example to know words and concepts of cooking and to know specific methods and food preparation techniques.
