What is it about?

Organizations and world leaders are laying enormous initiatives to curtail negative impacts on the environment. However, the current trend of unsustainable consumption has a considerable impact on climate change and global warming (Hameed, Waris, and Amin ul Haq, 2019). Among many reasons, food consumption is one contributor to unsustainability. According to Tobler, Visschers, & Siegrist, (2011), food consumption and production makes greenhouse gas emissions, land attrition, and excessive wastage. Food consumption is significantly impacting the environment by causing 20%-30% of the total environmental degradation impact.
