What is it about?

Debate about why do many people work?, is family really the central source of meaning in life among all the relationships?…which ideally matters a lot- This study helps to understand how does family motivation works and encourages self-efficacy of the employees then how both family and self-efficacy surprisingly engender individual’s organizational citizenship behavior at his/her workplace.

Why is it important?

We define the underlying mechanism to make organizations understand the family needs of the employees that ultimately benefit the organization and also mitigates the gap between family and the organization through making family-friendly policies.


I hope this article makes what people might think is a less interesting, slightly abstract area like research terminology and measuring things in a statistical format. But going through the article concepts start being interesting and maybe even exciting. Because the way we deal with family and organization(workplace) is not just a problem for policymakers, leaders, managers, and researchers to worry about - it is an issue that touches every single human being on this planet in one way or another. More than anything else, and if nothing else, I hope you find this article thought-provoking.
