Why is it important?

This study contributes to the literature on environmental sustainable development by incorporating the perspective of dynamic capabilities, and to the literature on family businesses by showing that not all the defining characteristics of a family business have the same influence on the achievement of environmental results.

Perspectives

In this study we shed light on how certain idiosyncratic characteristics of family tourism firms can help them improve their environmental performance.
