What is it about?

The use of organizational models in public sector all from traditional units to public limited companies, including how different building category (health, administration, schools, childcare, other) influence the choses of organizational models. The level of outsourcing is also evaluated. The article focus on both the facility/facilities management organization and the cleaning organization.

Provides deeper insight to how things are structured and organized both as strategic, tactical and operational levels and insights to desired changes. Put findings into international context. Previously there was a lot of anticipation on the relation between organizational models in FM and cleaning, this article provides documentation of how the relation is.

Perspectives

UK is known for high outsourcing and Norway for low outsourcing, while this publication indicate that the level of outsourcing in both these countries are about the same.
