What is it about?
Gender discursive struggles about the social inclusion of female gamers are often observed in an online gaming communities dominated by male gamers. We found four interrelated gender discursive struggles about social inclusion that animated the meanings of online gamer relations in a small gaming community: dominance versus equality, stereotyping versus diversity, competitiveness versus cooperativeness, and privilege versus empowerment.
