What is it about?
Scholars often talk about the agentic aspects of prisoner resistance, but rarely the structural causes. This makes sense if we think of resistance as antithetical to the prison--the main source of "structure." This paper, however, considers how structure also plays a role in shaping prisoners' resistance.
