What is it about?
Sometimes students turn in work that is sophisticated and refined. Other times their work provides evidence that their thinking is still very much in process. This paper highlights two strategies teachers from any discipline can use while reading student work to better understand their students' thinking and adjust their teaching accordingly in order to better support student learning.
