What is it about?

This paper has investigated Job Characteristics Model (JCM) among football referees. JCM is the most important theory in job design which were highly recommended by scholars. Hence, the study has exclusively explored job characteristics of football referees and their effects on psychological states and outcomes.

Based on research findings, task importance was the most important job characteristics of referees. This study has expanded our understand to design of officiating in football in term of psychological issue.
