What is it about?

Jesus told people that it is possible to enter life maimed. We enter life by following Jesus. This implies that people with disabilities should not be shunned or disadvantaged, because they are able to enter life by following Jesus. Disability is no indication of weak faith or sin.

Why is it important?

Entering Life Maimed encourages Christians to rethink their views of disability and people with disabilities. Instead of thinking that Christians with disabilities must be weak in faith, we need to be reminded that following Jesus is the way to life, rather than physical health.
