Adolescence is a crucial point in the lives of girls especially girls living and schooling in urban slums. The experiences of adolescent girls include menstruation which becomes a challenge due to the girl's social -economic status.

i hope my article breaks the silence on menstruation which is considered a taboo topic. This would empower the girls to understand their bodies .
