What is it about?
Leaf extract of Morinda lucida has been reported to possess anti-diabetic property. We have shown in this work that, its anti-diabetic effect is due to ability to improve pancreatic beta-cell function. We also shown that, the extract may be a good source of novel drugs for treating cardiovascular diseases as it improved atherogenic ratios in our study.
