Why is it important?

The first step in order to design something is to be able to describe it. Our research managed to describe in both ecological and architectural terms the micro sound territories of the city of Thessaloniki so we could try to design, if possibe, urban soundscapes.

Perspectives

Writing this article was a great pleasure as it has co-author with whom I have had long standing collaborations. This article could lead to numerous sound studies in different cities of the world so as to know much more about the sound phenomenon.
