Why is it important?

In the attempt to properly understand the interactions between the Mtb and TLRs, we greatly hope to achieve an optimal combination for targeting various pathogen components to vaccinate the infection. Likewise; TLRs can be used as important targets in the treatment of chronic mycobacterial infections.
