Our finding shows that out of seven flotation model considered second order kinetic model and fully mixed model has the best predictive power. The author recommends these two models for future use.
Perspectives
Due to pressure from end users to meet the demand of coal supply fine coal beneficiation is gaining more importance. And Froth flotation is the only effective technique relies on the surface properties for separating the hydrophobic particles from hydrophilic gangue. The use of appropriate mathematical model can save the coal industry for estimating the recovery of non-ash particles.
