What is it about?
Zimbabwe has introduced a new curriculum to replace the previously colonial oriented one. The new curriculum is meeting resistance from teachers for several reasons. While the challenges they are meeting are acknowledged and appreciated, educationists feel that the introduction of a skill based curriculum is a noble idea. It is perhaps the manner in which it was introduced. Interesting though is that teachers feel that it is an in thing at the moment.

It important because operational problems teachers are encountering are being shared through this study.
Perspectives
