What is it about?

This paper evaluate the positional accuracy of Google Earth images in Rome. The results show that Google very high-resolution imagery of Rome have an overall positional accuracy close to 1 meter, sufficient for deriving ground truth samples, measurements and large-scale planimetric maps.
