Why is it important?

Early Career Researchers (ECRs) are often overlooked in advancing the debate, since they are relatively inexperienced and have not yet reached a level of status and regard that is associated with professors and well-established senior researchers. Yet there are a range of contributions for which ECRs are ideally situated, such as having flexibility, adaptability, capacity and eagerness to learn and consume new information, and take advantage of numerous learning and collaboration opportunities and platforms.

Perspectives

This piece is an example of cross-continental, cross-institution collaboration which was conceptualized, driven, and produced by a group of ECRs; which I think is an exciting approach setting the bar for the future
