This article offers a view of how journalism students in higher education conceptualize and develop critical reflection in the meeting between student and teacher.

Why is it important?

This article calls for an environment of professional education in which learners could confront problems and engage reflectively with them. Another proposition is to introduce and accentuate a model for critical reflection that helps the students in developing a clear understanding of critical reflection and the foundations of a critical practice.
