What is it about?
A local Calderon-Zygmund estimate in Orlicz spaces is established to the Hessian of strong solutions for a class of nondivergence linear elliptic equations with the minimal regular assumptions on the given datum. We realized it by the approximate arguments, the boundedness of Hardy–Littlewood maximal operators in Orlicz spaces and the Orlicz's equivalent norm.

Why is it important?
We reached our conclusion to nondivergence linear elliptic equations under the minimal regular assumptions on the given datum.
Perspectives
This can be used to lay a foundation to various nonlinear elliptic problems.
