What is it about?
We used the techniques normally used in mapping structures in rocks to show how glacier (Forni Glacier specifically) behaves during a time span of about 10 years

Why is it important?
The evolution of glaciers is an important aspect of the evolving Planet Earth. We define quantitative approach to this field of research which can be combined with other quantitative methods extensively used in glaciology.
Perspectives
The idea is to follow the evolution of the Forni Glacier in future, even increasing details with high resolution images and enlarging the studied. Field work is also undergone to fix remote sensing analysis with direct observations.
