What is it about?

This article reviews five research articles that investigate ways of linking learning from experience during the practicum (student teaching) to other course-based components of teacher education programs in Canadian universities.

Why is it important?

Often times learning in practicum can be challenging, especially when there is not a good link between the schools where student teaching occurs and the universities where most of the seminars and courses of teacher education occur.

Perspectives

I enjoyed reacting to these research papers by way of using Sting's song to speak to some of the challenges that occur in practicum.
