What is it about?

This paper deals with how language constructs worldviews and how these can be analysed. It is the introduction to a special issue on space, time and evaluation in ideological discourse, and in it the main theoretical aspects underlying all the papers included in the issue are outlined. The paper deals with explaining cognitive accounts of perspective.
