Interesting compounds and we are working further on few more derivatives.......

What is it about?

This work carried out by my IAESTE intern. Prepared a new compound and developed single crystals and analyzed by XRD. Has the potential to be used as an intermediate in many synthetic steps... and some of them we are currently pursuing.....

Why is it important?

Scope to prepare many derivatives from this compound.......! Update: P.P Vinaya, A.N. Prabhu, K. Subrahmanya Bhat, V. Upadhyaya, Design, Growth and characterization of D-π-A-π-D based efficient nonlinear optical single crystal for optical device applications, J. Phy. Chem. Solids, 2018 (Accepted).
