What is it about?

In order to produce SWNTs and nano-particles, efficient methods are required. Here the good and controllable production method has bee developed.

Why is it important?

Usually the 50 % of carbon material is re-deposited on the cathode and lost. In this case 100 % of the material can be used to make nano-tubes or nano-particles. blending of 2 kinds of catalysts can be possible.

Perspectives

Development of carbon nano-materials are now going on and more functional materials to be used in the world will be obtained. So, we would like to make new production method, analyze new functions and study about new applications of nano-materials.
