Why is it important?

Workplace chaplaincy has not been written about as much as hospital and military chaplaincies, yet has been growing in usage in the US over the past couple of decades. Understanding the role of chaplains as seen by HR can help leaders who might be considering how else to meet the needs of their employees beyond EAP.

Perspectives

Chaplains are intriguing because they are religiously affiliated (clergy or lay persons) yet serve in business settings such as manufacturing and food processing that are often very diverse.
