What is it about?
Allergy (incl. hay fever) means a huge problem in Hungary, acceptable antihistamin medication compatible with military service and possibly military flight is a challenge. Methodology based on cognitive performance evaluation using psychological test battery is a proper way to exclude unfavourable side effects of antihistamines, like drowsiness, diminished mental perofrmance.

Why is it important?
With proper acceptable antihistamine medicaton all the aircrew/military personnel suffering from allergy/hayfever can be re-evaluated and re-instated into service without restricition.
Perspectives
With a well organized psychological test battery we can evaluate the side-effect profile for other medications as well, to exclude potentially risky mental decrement and we can select most reliable medications for aircrew in harmony with flight safety. I hope we are on the right track.
