Why is it important?
There has been an increased interest in the sociological issues affecting talent identification and development in football in recent years. This review aimed to synthesise what we know about sociological issues in relation to talent identification and present new avenues for future research.
Perspectives
I hope this article will help people realise the importance and complex nature of sociological issues in talent identification.
