Why is it important?

It is the first study that captures the qualitative experience of the first two cohorts of graduates from the 1st postgraduate programme in Greeceand their suggestions for improvement. It provides therefore useful information about future developments which will help establish the profession and make it known to the public.

Perspectives

The study needs to be replicated now with the new post-graduates in an effort to estimate what has been achieved during these ten years to make this specialty well esablished in the Greek society. My dream has been to make counselling psychology and counselling well-known in Greece and have people beleive in it. We still have a long way to go but hope that people will embrace it.
