What is it about?

This study investigates primary school teachers’ sense of efficacy in their work with the pupils with learning, emotional and behavioural difficulties (LEBD) in mainstream inclusive classrooms and in special classrooms of the pupils with LEBD from residential treatment institutions.

Why is it important?

We present the results of the analyses of individual aspects of teacher’s sense of self-efficacy (pupil engagement, instructional practices, classroom management), teachers’ efficacy beliefs regarding their ability to tackle the demands of teaching the pupils with LEBD, and of their assessment of their ability to apply knowledge from different socio-pedagogical areas.
