Perspectives

This article is a wonderful well-rounded article that allowed myself as a doctoral student to collaborate with my mentor as well as a speech pathologist on an issue that I encounter almost daily as a practicing gerontological nurse practitioner. With an advance directive completion rate of less than 30% in this country, I can not emphasize this article's importance as part of the advance directive discussion an individual's family and significant others.
