What is it about?
Refugees have different health beliefs and attitudes in comparison to the populations amongst which they resettle. These beliefs have consequent effects on self-care behaviours, such as medication adherence. Therefore, it is so important to understand refugees beliefs about their health to deliver the maximum health care for this vulnerable population.

Why is it important?
This systematic review highlighted the deficiency in literature regarding the studies about health beliefs of refugees population.
Perspectives
This article was my first experience in writing. I worked with great people who were so supportive, to finalise this piece of work. I think health practitioners will find it quite interesting and useful, it gives a better understanding of a vulnerable population.
